Hi, I have been playing around with the "free" version of the RC calculator and this is super! The cars I work on do not have symmetric front end geometry so the static RC is not on Centerline of chassis to help place it properly "mid turn"...I'm a roundy round racer on asphalt.

Is there a way to independently edit the settings to allow the modification of left and right suspension points and lengths? [/b]

I'm just curious about this since I've made wood models of the front end and can move stuff around, but having the ability to watch that "green dot" move during dive and roll is great feedback.

thanks!

Hi Steve,

This is a good question which has been requested a few times before. The calculator has the potential to handle asymmetric suspensions but I just have to work out the best way to input the data.

I won't give you any timescales but I will look into the design to see how long it will take.

Do you think there would be interested from other oval racers if I added this?

Yes an asymmetric model would be great!

I'm planning on adding shocks and springs next then finally asymmetric suspension.

I know you already said you plan on adding it but for what it's worth, +1 on the asymmetric suspension for oval track. 🙂

Next on the list for sure. Just working on some macpherson adjustments first

Released. Here is an article by way of an introduction:
